When i hear the name Martin Luther king, Jr. I think of peace, love, freedom, equality, justice etc. After over a decade of non-violent civil right activism, Dr Martin King leaves behind a message of solidarity and social justice. His life story also inspires race relation conversations of today.
I visited the KINGS CENTRE in Atlanta some weeks back with a couple of friends. This place is a living memorial dedicated to the advancement of his legacy. I took pictureeeesss and you bet am gonna share it with you guys. Guest what!!! the tour is FREE!!!!!!

KING’S SPIRITUAL HOMEThe spiritual home where Dr. King was baptised, became a co-pastor with his father and where his funeral was held.
BIRTH HOMEThe best part of my tour was his birth home. Unfortunately, cameras were prohibited inside the house. Most of the furniture is a period furniture, however his family owned a few pieces.
The King’s centre was an amazing experience. A great reminder of how one person and others stood up in the face of diversity for a strong belief that world needs to change.
